Together with Team Embrace The World I was following the Flèche du Sud in Luxembourg, a demanding UCI 2.2 stage race covering 622 kilometer and over 9.000 meter of climbing within five days. On
the line names like Thibau Nys, Lars Van Der Haar and Laurens Sweeck - guys I usually follow on TV in winter, awesome! Well not for
everyone I guess. Racing shoulder to shoulder with those lads isn't all fun and games, but hey, now we're here!
I've visited Luxembourg some years ago, but completely forgot about its beauty. Within the stages I was driving in between several photo spots and couldn't help myself than speaking out loud how
beautiful it is! Fields, fences, the long gras and cute trees everywhere were an awesome sight. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to really admire it or even taking some photos, but I got a
couple of the third stage right after the rain in Bourscheid.
The race itself was as exciting as it gets with many contenders for the general classification. Stage three kinda mixed it up a bit and in the very end Thibau Nys (photo above) won his first stage race by just two seconds! In between stages I published stories and photos at my Instagram feed and even managed to support some teams with pictures within the race. You'll find a full write up out of the perspective of Embrace The World here!
