ok, so its been already a quiet busy first half of the year and I wasn't posting anything for a long time, but I had 18 hours to spare lately and this is what I did! Thanks to the lads from Team Magnesium Pur, who gave me a ride, I was able to take photos of this years German individual time trial nationals held near Cottbus - we started our road trip in Freising on Friday morning to be on time for the U23 riders making their way "around" the 33 km course (what was actually a dead end road) to gain the fastest possible time with a time trial bike. Afterwards the mens elite took their chance and some of the pro riders really put the hammer down. Tony Martin of Jumbo Visma took the overall win with a 18 second advantage (including a bike change) to Nils Politt (Katusha Alpecin) and some more seconds to Jasha Sütterlin (Movistar Team). You'll find all the results right here: RAD-NET. Overall it was a great and fun event, even with a bit of a questionable organization, but what by the means of every rider seems very normal, so nothing to worry about. After 6 hours of photography we took another 6 hour ride back to munich - 18 hours well spend!
